Reading this brought back memories of my own less-than-great experiences trying to help family and friends. Often, they told me to mind my own business or showed they couldn’t be bothered. I’ve learned the hard way that you can’t help people who don’t want to be helped.
Knowing When to Step Back
You can only do so much for someone. These days, I’ve stopped proactively offering help. If someone wants my guidance, they need to ask for it. And if I sense they aren’t committed, I’ll stop helping immediately. Time is precious, and I don’t want to waste it on someone who doesn’t appreciate it or isn’t willing to put in the effort for their own financial freedom.

Helping Yourself First
If you can’t help yourself, no one else can. This rule applies to me as well. I constantly remind myself to keep an open mind. Who knows, there might be a hard asset even better than Bitcoin in the future, and I need to be ready to pivot if that’s the right move.
Staying Humble and Helpful
Always be aware, stay humble, and yes, be ready to help those who genuinely want it. Helping those who are truly seeking assistance is rewarding, but it’s crucial to recognize when your efforts are better spent elsewhere.
