Hi again!
I haven’t been blogging much lately because, to be honest, there’s not a lot of excitement right now with Bitcoin in its accumulation phase. Yes, I’m still alive and well. Despite the recent bearish sentiment, I haven’t sold a single satoshi. Instead, I’ve been buying up the dips, squeezing every bit of dry powder I have while also managing the expenses of moving into new homes. Renovations, fittings, new furniture, and appliances are taking a toll on my finances, but I’m juggling everything without going into the red. Once this moving phase is over, I can redirect more fiat into stacking sats.
Navigating the Boring Phase
During this accumulation phase, Bitcoin might seem boring, but this is the time to stay vigilant and continue stacking. Despite the market downturn, I’ve remained steadfast. I’ve seen my Bitcoin stash drop by around 15% and then bounce back up by the same amount. This is typical Bitcoin volatility. You have to experience it to understand that it’s just part of the game. Over time, as more global assets are absorbed into Bitcoin, this volatility will reduce, and Bitcoin will become a more stable asset like real estate and gold.
Managing Finances and Learning New Skills
This period has also been a financial juggling act for me. Moving into new homes, dealing with renovations, and buying new furniture and appliances have been quite the financial strain. However, I’ve managed to keep everything balanced without dipping into debt. Once the dust settles, I’ll have more fiat to convert into sats.
I’ve also been forcing myself to learn more about LuxAlgo, C++, and car mechanics. These are not just hobbies; they are potential income sources that can help me earn extra fiat to buy more sats. It’s been a bit of a struggle to stay motivated, but I’m pushing through.
The Long-Term Perspective
Looking at the long-term perspective, Bitcoin’s current price fluctuations are just noise. When you zoom out and think about Bitcoin’s value 5 to 50 years down the road, it’s clear that we’re still early in the game. Bitcoin’s value will keep increasing as it becomes more widely adopted and recognized as a global asset. This is why it’s crucial to stack as much as you can now while the price is still relatively low.
Closing Thoughts
I hope you’re doing well too. Remember, the key to success in Bitcoin is thinking long-term. Don’t get caught up in the short-term price movements. Focus on the big picture and continue stacking. You’re still early in the game, and there’s plenty of opportunity ahead. Stay strong, keep learning, and stack sats while you can.
